Albert Mountain (Mile 2093.3) to Stealth Site (Mile 2107.3)

Miles Hiked: 14

I’d planned to camp on top of Standing Indian Mountain, but there were enough people on trail today to make me think there might be a crowd up there. Besides, it was early when I arrived. Too early to stop and twiddle my thumbs.

I’d rather be hiking.

So I hiked.

And found a lovely little site with a hidden cascade nearby and a log to lean against while cooking and eating.

The Stealth Site Maven struck again.

9.19.19...Nailed it! And no one got hurt (except a toe I stubbed, but he seems to have forgiven me and plans to hang on to his toenail for now). When I hiked most of the AT in 2017, I worried about so many things that turned out to not such big deal
